Also known as Dryptosaurus aquilunguis, the enigmatic theropod from Late Cretaceous (campanian) New Jersey. "Eagle-clawed tearing lizard", literally.
Its fragmentary remains suggest a moderate sized tyrannosauroid (25 feet) with a relatively gracile build, serrated teeth and small forelimbs with a large manus and huge claws. I depicted it with an albertosaurine-like elongated skull, as it seems pretty plausible. Also tried to gave it sort of an avian look, at least all the avian a tyrannosauroid can get...
But... I had always thought the tyrannosaurids had two fingers? Or was I mistaken?
