I really like the Utahraptor. However, the Austroraptor seems to have an awfully long neck. Otherwise the anatomy looks good as far as I can tell. =)

Austroraptor neck is quite long even for a dromaeosaur, or at least it is in this reconstruction I used as reference [link] If anything, maybe the snout should be slighly longer...

I see. It still looks a bit too long in my opinion though. As well as too robust. It doesn't look like a dromaeosaur neck to me, even one of that size.

I agree about the snout as well though.

The neck looks thicker because of the feather covering. As happens in modern birds the shape and muscle lines of the body shouldn´t be showing completely in a feathered animal.

Anyway, since Austro remains are very fragmentary I guess those especulative reconstructions can be valid. Austrorator is a very strange dromaeosaurid, notice the small arms and tiny, troodontid like teeth.

Thanks! the jumping guy is just a humorous reference to these size charts were a human is waving all quiet in front of 4 gigantic theropods. ;D
